Silver Nail Stickers

Besides from my bad hair i am really pleased with my Silver Nail Stickers purchased from Superdrug a few weeks ago. Downside is that they are a nightmare to get on and i have been receiving electric shocks from every light switch, but upside is that they are so SHINY and look especially fabulous in the dark so roll on New Years Eve. 

CV experiments

Here are two quick snapshots of different CV's I'm working on. I can't decide which i prefer. I want the second one to look more like a letter but there is just too much text. No matter how hard i try i just can't narrow it down any more. And perhaps the first one looks too much like a menu. So for any aspiring chefs out there, take note. I was also debating doing my name and the titles in my own handwriting to give it a personal edge. 

I have also done a covering letter for my potential work experience coming up in April. I have looked into applying for a placement at Nicole Farhi in e-commerce so this is an example of me trying to sell myself.

So i'm just browsing around on the internet and found this Fashion Magazine that i am now officially in love with. Its called MUSE.

The whole editorial layout and the photo shoots are really slick yet innovative. It is quite dreamy but also edgy. I need to get my hands on this magazine asap. Anyone know where i can find it?

Rihanna X Factor

OK I didn't watch X Factor AT ALL but after hearing so much on twitter about her i hat to youtube it. As a result of this, i now want this dress and will be making it myself if i have to.

I just love this photo shoot, it is so beautiful, so sculptural it reminds me of still life drawings. The black and white strong lighting look reminds me of why i do what i do.

I love the vintage pin up look of this shoot, the huge hair, retro makeup and mix of pretty silks dresses with lingerie in such an ouvert way is so glamourous and alluring not sleazy.
